Terms of Service

Last updated: May 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Meetle ("Meetle," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our curated weekly matchmaking service for Korean singles in the Greater Seattle area (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, legally able to enter into a binding contract under Washington law, and not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is true and accurate.

3. The Service

Meetle reviews applicant profiles and, at our sole discretion, delivers up to one curated match per week to approved members. We do not guarantee compatibility, the number of matches, or any specific outcome, including dating, relationships, or marriage.

4. Member Conduct

You agree that you will not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information.
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or fraud.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other members.
  • Request, share, or solicit money, financial information, or sexually explicit content.
  • Use the Service while married or in an exclusive relationship without disclosure.
  • Copy, distribute, or otherwise misuse another member's photos or personal information.
  • Attempt to circumvent the matching process or use automated tools, bots, or scrapers.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

5. Profile Review and Removal

All profiles are subject to review. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, suspend, or remove any profile or content at our sole discretion, including for safety, community standards, or legal reasons.

6. Fees, Refunds, and Right to Cancel

The Service is currently offered free of charge during its beta phase. If we introduce paid features in the future, fees will be disclosed at the point of purchase and you will be asked to accept additional purchase terms before being charged.

Washington Dating Service Right to Cancel (RCW 19.220.020). If you enter into any paid dating service contract with us, you have the right to cancel the contract, without penalty or obligation, by midnight of the third business day after the date you sign the contract. To cancel, send written notice of cancellation to legal@kconnectseattle.com or to our mailing address listed in Section 18. Upon timely cancellation we will refund all amounts paid within ten (10) business days. You may also be entitled to a pro-rata refund if you become disabled, die, or relocate more than fifty (50) miles from any service location, as provided by Washington law.

7. Automatic Renewal Terms

We do not currently offer auto-renewing subscriptions. If we introduce a subscription that renews automatically, we will: (a) clearly and conspicuously disclose the renewal terms before you subscribe; (b) obtain your affirmative consent to the auto-renewal; (c) send a reminder before each renewal where required by law; and (d) provide an easy-to-use online cancellation method consistent with the Washington Automatic Renewal Act and similar state statutes.

8. Safety Disclaimer; Washington Safety Awareness Notification

Meetle does NOT conduct criminal background screenings on its members. This notice is provided as required by the Washington Online Dating Safety Awareness Act (RCW 19.250). The fact that we do not screen does not guarantee that any member who has been screened by a third party is safe.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. We strongly recommend that you:

  • Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information to anyone you meet through the Service.
  • Meet first in a public place and tell a friend or family member where you are going.
  • Provide your own transportation and avoid sharing your home address.
  • Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for money, sexual content, or to move off-platform.
  • Report suspicious behavior to us and, when appropriate, to local law enforcement.

See our Safety Guide for more detail. Meetle is not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.

9. User Content and DMCA Notice

You retain ownership of photos, text, and other content you submit ("User Content"), and grant Meetle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, display, and use such content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content.

Copyright Infringement (DMCA). If you believe that material on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) that includes: (i) your physical or electronic signature; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work; (iii) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (iv) your contact information; (v) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (vi) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner. Send notices to our Designated Agent:

We will respond to valid notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material. We will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

10. Third-Party Content; Section 230

The Service hosts content created by other members. Meetle is a provider of an interactive computer service under 47 U.S.C. § 230 and is not the publisher or speaker of information provided by other members. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or safety of User Content. We may, but are not required to, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, and graphics created by Meetle, is owned by Meetle and protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted to you to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY WASHINGTON LAW.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETLE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meetle from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

15. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You and Meetle consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration.

17. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Waiver; Opt-Out

Except for (a) claims for injunctive or other equitable relief, (b) small claims court actions, and (c) intellectual property disputes, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in Seattle, Washington under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You and Meetle waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or class arbitration.

30-Day Right to Opt Out of Arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms to legal@kconnectseattle.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and including your name, the email associated with your account, and a clear statement that you do not wish to be bound by arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
