Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Moram ("Moram," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our curated weekly matchmaking service for Korean singles in the Greater Seattle area (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age, legally able to enter into a binding contract under Washington law, and not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is true and accurate.

3. The Service

Moram reviews applicant profiles and, at our sole discretion, delivers one curated match per week to approved members. We do not guarantee compatibility, the number of matches, or any specific outcome, including dating, relationships, or marriage.

4. Member Conduct

You agree that you will not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information.
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or fraud.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other members.
  • Request, share, or solicit money, financial information, or sexually explicit content.
  • Use the Service while married or in an exclusive relationship without disclosure.
  • Copy, distribute, or otherwise misuse another member's photos or personal information.
  • Attempt to circumvent the matching process or use automated tools.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

5. Profile Review and Removal

All profiles are subject to review. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, suspend, or remove any profile or content at our sole discretion, including for safety, community standards, or legal reasons.

6. Fees and Refunds

Some features may require payment. All fees are stated at the point of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by Washington law. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees and taxes.

7. Safety Disclaimer

Moram does not conduct criminal background checks on its members. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. Always use caution and meet in public places. Moram is not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Moram and protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Moram a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use such content for the purpose of operating the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY WASHINGTON LAW.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MORAM AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moram from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You and Moram consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration.

14. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration

Except for claims for injunctive relief or small claims court actions, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in Seattle, Washington under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You and Moram waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
